PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining method for equipment and piping of austenitic stainless steel, restraining generation of a hardened layer due to machining and restraining generation of SCC without applying a post treatment and attaining shortened work time and cost reduction, and also to provide equipment and piping for a nuclear power plant machined by means of the machining method.;SOLUTION: The machining method for the equipment and piping of austenitic stainless steel includes a finish treatment process of machining the equipment and piping by using a throwaway chip 5 having a rake angle of +29° or more, for restraining working hardening on the surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
