METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SHORTENING DELAY TIME IN CDMA/WCDMA BASED NOISE REMOVAL REPEATER

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for shortening delay time of a repeater for removing noise, in a receiving signal in a CDMA/WCDMA-based mobile communication system. PSOLUTION: A CDMA/WCDMA noise removal repeater demodulates a signal received through a receiving antenna and modulates the demodulated signal again, wherein a diffusion coefficient used in demodulation and modulation steps is lower than a diffusion coefficient used for the diffusion of the signal received through the receiving antenna. Such a CDMA/WCDMA noise removal repeater can shorten the time required for reverse diffusion and diffusion of a digital signal in demodulation and modulation processes in the repeater, by using the diffusion coefficient lower than the diffusion coefficient of the received signal and demodulating and modulating the digital signal. Consequently, the window size for searching a signal of a terminal set in a base station can be reduced, so that the terminal device retrieval efficiency of the base station can be enhanced and provides the effect of improving the flexibility of network design.
