PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: a member for obtaining pulse oscillation causes a decrease in efficiency in a configuration of a conventional pulsed oscillation fiber laser beam source, and when a wavelength conversion element with high efficiency is used, the output gets saturated or the wavelength conversion element deteriorates.;SOLUTION: A Yb fiber of a Yb fiber laser resonator part includes a part where excitation becomes weak, and a current applied to an LD for a pump is pulsed to make a fiber laser stably perform pulsed oscillation, thereby achieving high-efficiency wavelength conversion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
