PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split outer ring with little difference in a recess and a protrusion of a split surface than before.;SOLUTION: The split outer ring 11 of the bearing is the outer ring of the bearing attached and fixed in a bearing stand. On the outer peripheral surface 14 of the outer ring, a first hole 23 is formed, and the split surface 18 split in a circumferential direction is formed at a plurality of circumferential positions in the outer ring including at least the circumferential position of the first hole 23. When the split surface 18 of an outer ring split body 12 is formed by breaking a steel cylindrical body, an axial breaking distance to be broken is shorter than before, therefore, the difference in the recess and the protrusion of the split surface 18 is reduced than before.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
