PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening method by planting trees on a soilless surface solving the following problems to enable greening via garden-style planting with tall trees even on an existing building rooftop while the planted trees are prevented from falling down by strong wind without any ground supports being obstacles to landscape, greening by planting trees on a rooftop or the like by using a planting mat, if using only a standard planting mat, is difficult, and requires extra labor and labor cost for processing the planting mat on site; and further transportation cost and the like for the planting mat as a formed product become expensive and thereby construction unit price becomes comparatively high when the construction place is at a long distance. PSOLUTION: The greening method by planting trees on a soilless surface comprises: forming vegetation base soil locally supplied and nonwoven sheet/raschel net sheet into the planting mat to fit the shape of the site using forming frame, on site; disposing a tree-fixing base comprising reinforcing bars, ringers and steel pipes at a tree planting position on the planting mat; perpendicularly fixing the planted tree to the root ball part of which root ball supporting tools are attached, to the tree-fixing base; putting topsoil of about 10 cm thickness over all including the root pot part; and making block sodding over the entire surface.
