PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid feeding device which can feed a fixed amount of a liquid to a subsidiary tank of an image forming device, is inexpensive, and has a simple structure.;SOLUTION: When ink is press-fed to the subsidiary tank 12 from a main tank 18 by a piston cylinder device 20, air in the subsidiary tank 12 is discharged to the outside of the subsidiary tank 12 through a gas permeable film 14 which closes an opening section 16a of an atmosphere communication hole 16 as the ink level 3a in the subsidiary tank 12 rises. When the ink level 3b comes into contact with the gas permeable film 14, the air in the subsidiary tank 12 is not discharged to the outside any more, and the pressure in the subsidiary tank increases. When the pressure in the subsidiary tank 12 becomes predetermined specified pressure or higher, the press-feeding of the ink from the main tank 18 to the subsidiary tank 12 is stopped.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
