PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a client terminal and a thin client system suppressing any useless power consumption by controlling a clock frequency in the consideration of a network band. PSOLUTION: A client terminal having a processing part for processing data received through a network includes: a discrimination means for discriminating a clock frequency with which the processing part is made to operate according to the band of the network; and a clock control means for changing the clock frequency of the processing part to the determined clock frequency.
