PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of heat generation in an overhead transmission line in a portion of a strain clamp which has a risk of disconnection if neglected, by a comparatively simple method.;SOLUTION: In a method for repairing an anchor portion of an overhead transmission line by a compression strain clamp, an under-winding armor rod is wound around a transmission line from the mouth of the strain clamp so that the transmission line has a diameter substantially equivalent to the outside diameter of the strain clamp, the compression portion of the strain clamp and the surface of the under-winding armor rod are covered, and then an upper-winding armor rod slightly shorter than the end-of-winding of the under-winding armor rod, is wound.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
