PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve tenacity of an earthquake-resisting wall by allowing the earthquake-resisting wall to displace largely in the horizontal direction while keeping shearing resistance.;SOLUTION: This earthquake-resisting wall 10 includes: a wall body 20; a low-strength part 22, the wall thickness of which is small to easily cause the horizontal relative displacement; and a dowel line 24 extending in the vertical direction of the low-strength part 22. A gap 28 is provided between the wall body 20 and a column 12. The low-strength part 22 is disposed on at least one of the upper and lower sides or in the middle part in the vertical direction of the wall body 20.
