Apparatus for automatically testing a CMOS integrated magnetoresistive biochips are disclosed. The apparatus comprises means for applying a direct or indirect physical pressure to the fluid pumping chamber in the cartridge; liquid injection of the liquid into the reaction chamber through the inlet or group of inlets in fluid communication with the reaction chamber in the cartridge means for applying a magnetic field to the integrated CMOS magnetoresistive biochip cartridge; integrated CMOS magnetoresistive biochip located in the reaction chamber in the cartridge; the injector communicates with the biochip and provides power an electronic module which controls the signal; including; for information processing and user interface; microprocessor to synchronize by controlling the above components. This reduces the complexity of the operation, apparatus provided by the present invention significantly improves the detection sensitivity.
