PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working restoring method and a working restoring device with flexibility, which restores a working device to an original position regardless of a condition at an abnormal stopping time of the working device, and allows even a worker not familiar with the working device to easily cope with the restoration.;SOLUTION: In this working restoring method, a working device is set to an assist mode in a first step (first setting step). In a second step, the worker retreats the working device from an abnormal stopping position to a retreating position (assist action, control step). At that time, the movement of the working device is controlled according to the size and direction of a man power of the worker. In a third step, the working device is set to an automatic restoring mode (second setting step). In a fourth step, the working device is controlled to be automatically restored from the retreating position to an original position (a restoration control step).
