PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform biometric authentication without needing a large amount of data. PSOLUTION: A collation image generation probability calculation part 17 calculates collation image generation probability by use of a collation image generation probability model. A variable probability calculation part 18 calculates variable probability of a set of a registration image and a collation image by use of a variable probability model. A degree of difference calculation part 19 calculates a degree of difference from the collation image generation probability and the variable probability. A identification part 20 compares a predetermined identification threshold value with the degree of difference to decide whether or not the collation image matches a person to be authenticated.
