PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound having a cancer cell anchorage-independent proliferation-inhibiting activity and excellent anticancer activity.;SOLUTION: The compound is represented by the formula. The anticancer agent, the anti-lung cancer agent, the anti-cerebral tumor agent and an anti-prostatic cancer agent contain the compound as an active ingredient. The method for producing the compound comprises culturing microbial cells belonging to the genus Streptomyces, e.g. Streptomyces sp.
