PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus for preventing an incorrect timing delay from being calculated.;SOLUTION: The wireless communication apparatus 1 corresponding to a multi-carrier wireless communication system for inferring timing with a communication partner includes: a correlation operation part 206 for finding out correlation data between a reference symbol received from the communication partner and known information concerned with the reference symbol; a timing difference prediction part 209 for calculating a prediction value of a timing difference from a synchronizing state with the communication partner based on past correlation data; a weighting operation part 210 for weighting the present correlation data based on the prediction value; and a timing difference calculation part 211 for calculating a timing difference from the synchronizing state with the communication partner based on the weighted present correlation data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
