MULTI-BAND IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE AND MULTI-BAND IMAGE PICKUP METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pick up a multi-band image with ease which improves the color reproducibility according to illumination characteristics, in real time. PSOLUTION: An illumination detecting sensor 10 detects illumination spectrum. A noise parameter calculating section 11 calculates noise parameter for each band according to the detected illumination spectrum. A color conversion profile calculation section 12 generates a color conversion profile for performing color conversion using the calculated noise parameter. The multi-band image data having been acquired with an imaging element 3 and then stored in a frame memory 6 is stored in a multi-band image recording section 7 along with the generated color conversion profile, and thereafter, it is subjected to color conversion by using the color conversion profile at an image reproduction section 8 and displayed on a display element 9.
