PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound useful for stabilizing a polyolefin from harmful effects of oxygen, heat and a chemical beam and having a structure of substituting an N-alkoxy part containing hydroxyl group on its N atom. ;SOLUTION: This hydroxy-substituted N-alkoxy sterically hindered amine includes an 1-alkoxy-substituted compound substituted by 1-3 hydroxy groups at its alkoxy part of formula I [G1, G2 are each a 1-4C alkyl or the like; E is a 1-18C alkylene or the like; (b) is 1-3], 1-alkoxy cross-linked compound of formula II, etc., an oligomer or polymer molecule obtained by a reaction of a dialkyl ester of formula III (R27 is an alkylene or the like; R28 is an alkyl or the like; T4 is formula IV, etc.), or an isocyanate with a hydroxy-substituted N-alkoxy derivative of a 4-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetraalkylpiperidine, or a diester or urethane derivative of a hydroxy-substituted N-alkoxy derivative of 4- hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine such as formula V (R29 is an alkyl or the like).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
