PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method of the co-flocculation capacity of bacteria capable of objectively and easily evaluating the co-flocculation capacity of bacteria. PSOLUTION: In the evaluation method of the co-flocculation capacity of bacteria, external force is applied to a capsule 11 for submerged observation containing at least two kinds of bacteria becoming an evaluation target, the co-flocculation states of bacteria before and after external force is applied is observed by a scanning electron microscope and the co-flocculation capacity of bacteria is evaluated on the basis of the observation result. It is preferable to apply the external force to the capsule 11 for submerged observation in the scanning electron microscope and the external force is preferably applied to the capsule 11 for submerged observation while vibrating the capsule.
