A cap (C) is composed of a cap body (1) that is provided with a pilfer proof structure and an inner packing (11) that is disposed inside a top plate (5) of the cap body (1) and has an annular wall (8) fitted in a mouth (2a) of a container (2) when the container (2) is closed. The cap (C) is used as a closure plug that is caught in an axial direction so as to be prevented from falling out. When the cap is removed, a pilfer-proof band (7) is cut off and detached, and the cap is released from the catching to expose the inner packing (11) with the inner packing (11) left fitted in the mouth (2a) of the container (2). Then the contents of the container (2) can be drunk by a straw (22) through a simple unsealing section (21) provided inside the annular wall (8) of the top plate (15), or can be drunk directly or through the straw (22) after removing the inner packing (11). Thus the contents can be drunk without impairing the pilfer proof function and deteriorating hygienic conditions.
