PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic warp knitted fabric keeping a commercial value as a surface material of a chair or the like over a long period, and hardly slipping, providing good sitting feeling and little surface luster and hardly providing an image of a plastic product when used as the surface material of the chair or the like.;SOLUTION: The elastic warp knitted fabric is obtained by interknitting a knitting structural yarn 14 knitted by a warp knitting machine with an elastic warp knitted base fabric comprising an elastic yarn 11 and a nonelastic yarn 12 without forming a knit loop. The knitting structural yarn is one kind of a warp knit comprising knit loops 19 and sinker loops 18, and the chain-forming position of the knit loop and the sinker loop is formed into an agglomeration state such as a knot. The chain-forming positions are formed in the longitudinal direction of the knitting structural yarn at the same repeat as that of the knit loops and the sinker loops, and appear on the outer surface of the knitted structural yarn as a fine unevenness. The luster and the smoothness caused by the elastic yarn are reduced by the unevenness to provide the elastic warp knitted fabric having the pear skin-like surface and hardly causing slipping without exhibiting smooth appearance such as a plastic product.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
