PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrical connection structure and an electrical connection method between SOFC stacks generating no breakage of a substrate or a cell caused by difference of coefficient of thermal expansion between the SOFC stack and the current collecting member, and reducing a cost by using a current collecting member easy to work. PSOLUTION: The electrical connection structure and electrical connection method between the solid oxide fuel cell stacks are that a solid oxide fuel cell is arranged on the outer surface of an insulating substrate having a fuel passage through which fuel flows from one end to the other end inside, a spacer having the same composition as the insulating substrate or coefficient of thermal expansion near to that of the insulating substrate is interposed between adjacent solid oxide fuel cell stacks, and metal or alloy is arranged on the outer surface of the spacer.
