PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device suitable for storing setting information and history information on the printing device and to provide an interface device and the like. SOLUTION: The non-volatile memory 109 of the printing device 101 non- volatilly stores setting information on the printing device 101. Command data transmitted from a host device 161 are repeated by an interface device 131. A reception part 103 receives it. When command data are a printing command, a print mechanism part 108 prints a character or a graphic. When command data update setting information, setting information of the non-volatile memory 109 is updated. Setting information of the non-volatile memory 109 is stored in the non-volatile memory 135 of the interface device 131 at proper storage timing. Stored setting information is restored in the non-volatile memory 109 from the non-volatile memory 135 at proper restorage timing.
