Printing using an ink spot color and chromatic primary color inks

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct plate dividing processing by considering the graininess of an image caused by dots of a secondary owner color ink and the saving of the ink when a primary owner color ink and the secondary owner color ink can be utilized. PSOLUTION: An ink set including a plurality of primary owner color inks which can reproduce achromatic colors and at least one secondary owner color ink having a hue different from any of the plurality of primary owner color inks can be utilized by using them in combination with one another. When an actual ink amount to the maximum ink amount of the secondary owner color ink to be decided according to the reproduced color is called "a secondary color ink duty factor", the ink amount of the secondary owner color ink is decided so that the duty factor of the secondary color ink when the hue is relatively near that of the secondary owner color ink becomes smaller than the duty factor of the secondary color ink when the hue is relatively near that of the primary owner color ink.
