PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order receiving and production system of wires and wire harnesses in which increase of cost of the wires and the product using the wires can be suppressed, and resources saving can be realized.;SOLUTION: The order receiving and production system of wire harness comprises a production control section 16, a wire manufacturing section 14, and a wire harness assembly section 15. The production control section 16 sends a first order quantity data D1 satisfying the order received data D to a resin manufacturing section 44, sends a second order quantity data D2 to a core wire manufacturing section 45, and sends a third order quantity data D3 to a mixing agent manufacturing section 46. The manufacturing sections 44, 45, 46 manufacture required quantity of pellet, core wire, and mixing agent and transfer to the wire manufacturing section 14. The wire manufacturing section 14, while mixing the pellet and the mixing agent from the manufacturing sections 44, 45, 46, push them out to surroundings of the core wire and covers it. The wire manufacturing section transfers the produced wires to the wire harness assembly section 15. The wire harness assembling section 15 assembles the wire harnesses.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
