PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing device of a rice polishing machine capable of suppressing handling weight small and facilitating handling in maintenance work, not requiring troublesome disassembly and adjusting work of an opening and closing transmission system of a resisting plate when attaching or detaching a rice bran removal cylinder, even in a large constitutional rice polishing machine.;SOLUTION: By being provided with the rice bran removal cylinder 3 attachable and detachable from the front face side, the resisting plate 4, an opening and closing arm 4a and an advancing and retracting shaft 6 at the discharge opening 3a of the rice bran removal cylinder 3; and to the rice bran removal cylinder 3, the opening and closing arm 4a is integrally and pivotally supported, the opening and closing arm 4a and the advancing and retracting shaft 6 are joined, and between the both, a closing side engaging mechanism 11 for elastically pressurizing the resisting plate 4 by engaging and abutting by the advancing and retracting action in the advancing direction of the advancing and retracting shaft 6 and an opening side engaging mechanism 12 for opening the resisting plate 4 by engaging and abutting by the advancing and retracting action in the retracting direction of the advancing and retracting shaft 6 are installed, and one of the engaging part mutually engaging of this opening side engaging mechanism 12 is constituted of an engaging and disengaging switching member 15 switchable to disengaging position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
