PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically update a question in a question type password.;SOLUTION: An answer to a question is stored with a count value, and set as a password when the count value is within a predetermined range, or set as a candidate within a predetermined range of password and deleted when exceeding a predetermined range. Two or more questions for password and questions for password candidate are presented respectively to a user to answer thereto, and when all questions leading passwords are correctly answered, the user is authenticated. When a password and a password candidate are correctly answered, the count value is added, and when they are incorrectly answered, these are eliminated from the passwords and the password candidates.
