PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separated liquid obtained by subjecting a stock solution of Sake lees to solid and liquid separation as a liquid culture medium for culturing and to provide a method for mass-proliferation and mass-culturing of photosynthetic bacteria difficult to selectively proliferate in a short period of time.;SOLUTION: The separated liquid obtained by mixing the diluted photosynthetic bacteria with the stock solution of the Sake lees, stirring the resultant mixture, aggregating and separating the mixture and carrying out at least one treatment of regulating the pH of the separated liquid after the solid and liquid separation with the photosynthetic bacteria, reducing the BOD, conducting a mixing treatment, centrifuging, filtering or ultraviolet irradiation is used as the liquid culture medium for culturing. Thereby, the method for proliferating and culturing the remaining photosynthetic bacteria while irradiating the liquid culture medium with rays of light mainly containing wavelengths of 400-700 nm is provided.
