PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device capable of treating travelling yarn with a pressured gaseous or steamy medium, wherein the medium can thickly permeate into each capillary especially under a condition of a low yarn tension and overpressure.;SOLUTION: The method comprises that the yarn is led through a yarn path set between two long and slender yarn guides (15, 16) movable against each other, resisting to spring force or magnetic force and into a yarn-treating chamber (2) practically sealed to the surroundings, the gaseous or steamy medium is pressured and supplied into the yarn-treating chamber (2), the yarn is drawn out through the other path between two long and slender yarn guides (15, 16) movable against each other and resisting spring force or magnetic force, and the sections of the two yarn paths are fitted to yarn thickness (count) so as to pass the yarn through the path almost without friction and to seal almost not to cause pressure loss from the yarn-treating chamber.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
