PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resisting slit member which can prevent shear fracture or brittle fracture of a structural skeleton such as a column and a beam caused by a non-structural wall such as a hanging wall, a spandrel wall, and a wing wall, at the time of an earthquake, ensures fire resistance, compressiveness (deformable width, deformation restorability), inter-layer deformation, and watertightness, dispenses with reinforcing members and fixtures when mounted, and is good in workability and quality.;SOLUTION: A slit section is formed by a joint form, and a slit member is inserted into the slit section as an earthquake-resisting slit, to thereby realize the retrofitted earthquake-resisting slit member. The resultant slit member dispenses with the reinforcing members and the fixtures which have been required when a conventional slit member is driven into concrete. Herein the required performance for the slit member is focused only on fire resistance, compressiveness (deformable width, deformation restorability), inter-layer deformation, and watertightness, and the required performance is implemented by the earthquake-resisting slit member which is a combination of an elastic fire-resistant member and an elastic sealing or an adhesive water cutoff member, and therefore the resultant slit member is good in workability and quality.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
