PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate condensed contents, capable of directly representing overall blog contents, by collecting a plurality of articles in a blog configured of the plurality of articles contributed by creators.;SOLUTION: A condensed content generation apparatus includes: a memory for storing content identifiers, titles, contents and types; a memory for storing classified titles of each type; a memory for storing character strings of each type; a preferential type decision unit for deciding the degree of preference based on totaled numbers, by totaling the number of contents and/or the number of accesses in the memory type-by-type; a title generation unit for generating the title of a condensed content screen including the classified title, by acquiring the classified title of a type having the highest degree of preference; a display element generation unit for generating the display elements of the condensed content screen type-by-type, including the character strings, by acquiring character strings of one, two or more types in order from the highest degree of preference; and a layout decision unit for laying out the title and the display elements.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
