PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for presenting a network failure diagnosis result, and a storage medium storing a program, capable of reducing inquiries to a call center when a failure that a failure diagnostic tool cannot detect occurs, and a user makes a phone call to the call center.;SOLUTION: The device for presenting the network failure diagnosis result comprises: a diagnostic means for diagnosing where the failure cause exists in the network; a specific number storage means for registering a specific number; a transmission detection means for detecting the telephone has transmitted to the specific number stored in the specific number storage means; a failure diagnosis start control means for causing the diagnostic means to start a failure diagnosis of the network when the transmission detection means detects the transmission to the specific number; and a diagnosis result presenting means for presenting the network failure diagnosis result by the diagnostic means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
