PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processed aloe the mesophyll from which viscous substances have been removed by a simple effective method.;SOLUTION: Aloe mesophyll is dipped in an aqueous solution of a polysaccharide-degrading enzyme, and then washed with water, to form the processed aloe mesophyll from whose cut surfaces viscous substances have clearly removed and which does not cause the additional oozing of a viscous substance, even when stored.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
