PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement amount measuring method in a structure using a picked up image capable of accurately determining the displacement amount of the structure.;SOLUTION: In this displacement amount measuring method, a reference region section subjected to the measurement of a picked up image before charging a load, and a measured object region section of a picked up image after charging the load are enlarged with a Fourier transform method. The residual square sum of luminance values of pixels in both enlarged region sections is determined while the reference region section A_i is shifted by one pixel with respect to the measured object region section B_i. A correlation value r related to each of the determined residual square sums is plotted on a plane correspondingly to each pixel of the reference region section, a curve (curved surface) P passing the point representing each plotted correlation value or the proximity thereof is determined by a least squares method, and a minimum value of the determined curve is determined. The distance between the coordinate position x_i of this minimum value and the coordinate position x_i' of the measurement target pixel in the reference region section is determined, thereby determining the displacement amount of the structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
