The portable terminal forms the presumption of GPS time. The portable terminal, has the cellular receiver, the GPS receiver, and the processor. The cellular receiver is formed in order to receive the communication signal from the cell in the radio communication system. The GPS receiver receives the GPS signal, decides GPS time standard from there. The processor presumes cell time standard from the communication signal which is received, forms the timing data between cell -gps which displays the time offset with cell time standard and GPS time standard. Next, as for the processor, GPS time is presumed on the basis of the part of the time indication in the communication signal which is received and the timing data between cell -gps. The GPS time which is presumed is used in order to receive the GPS signal by the GPS receiver.
