PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method for searching a bacterial strain which participates to immunostimulating action and antitumor action which kefir particles have and for utilizing the bacterial strain in production of foods such as fermented milk. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a lactic acid bacterium belonging to the genus Lactococcus, separated from kefir particles and having immunostimulating activity and a method for production of foods characterized by using the lactic acid bacterium.
