PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locus recording instrument for a club head which has a good attaching stability for the club head.;SOLUTION: This locus recording instrument for a club head records the swing locus of a golf club on a recording paper (recording medium) P while being attached to the face PF of the club head. The locus recording instrument is equipped with a holder main body 12 having a face contact surface 12C with which the face PF is brought into contact, a horizontal pressing screw (horizontal pressing-holding section) 16, two claws (supporting sections) 19A which support the club head from the lower side, vertical pressing screws (vertical pressing-holding sections) 15A and 15B, and a ball-point pen holder (recording section) 14 which records the locus L of the club head on the recording paper P. In this case, the horizontal pressing screw 16 is connected with the holder main body 12, and imparts a pressing force in a space between the holder main body 12 and the club head of a pin type putter PP.
