PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lead-free and arsenic-free special short flint glass.;SOLUTION: The lead-free and arsenic-free special short flint glass has a refractive index n_d of 1.60≤n_d≤1.65, an Abbe number ν_d of 41≤ν_d≤52, a relative partial dispersion Pgf of 0.551≤P_gF≤0.570 in the blue spectral region, a relative partial dispersion Pc_s of 0.507≤Pc_s≤0.525 in the red spectral region, a negative deviation of the relative partial dispersion ΔP_g,F from the normal line of ΔP_g,F≤-0.0045 and improved chemical stability.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
