The system and method for the channel quality improvement in packet data radio network are disclosed. In each cell of the radio network, on the basis it is measured of the packet data at least either channel availability and packet queue/cue measurement. Power control algorithm making use of packet data load, concerning the channel of the cell commonness or is equal, multiple address or transmission power level is judged. Common multiple address and transmission electric power afterwards, are good being adjusted with the individual channel base concerning the channel which is outside the quality window which is defined beforehand.
