ELASTOMER COMPOSITION, MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR FILLER-CONTAINING ELASTOMER COMPOSITION, RUBBER COMPOSITION AND TIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastomer composition affording a rubber composition that, when used for a tire member, enhances a low-fuel-consumption property and imparts good gripping performance to the tire in addition to satisfactory abrasion resistance and fracture resistance, and a method for effectively manufacturing the filler-containing elastomer composition.SOLUTION: The elastomer composition is obtained by mixing (A) an elastomer bearing a reactive functional group on its main chain with (B) a modified polymer having, on average per one molecule, one or less modified group having bonding reactivity to the reactive functional group on the main chain of the elastomer, the component (A). The manufacturing method for the filler-containing elastomer composition includes kneading the component (A) with the component (B) to obtain the elastomer composition and subsequently incorporating (C) a filler with the kneadate.
