PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quality determination device and a quality determination method capable of reducing an average inspection time required for inspection per article to be inspected.;SOLUTION: This quality determination device acquires at least one time-series signal produced from an article in a sensor part and uses it for quality determination in the determination part. The determination part performs a quality determination S104 at a time point S102 when the elapsed time from a predetermined time point timed in a timing part is a first period of time.
