PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new denitrifying bacterial strain capable of sufficiently exhibiting a denitrifying capacity and removing nitric acid in a good efficiency even not under a middle temperature and neutral environmental condition, and especially even under a high temperature/highly alkaline environmental condition, and a method for removing nitric acid by using the same.;SOLUTION: This denitrifying bacterial strain belonging to the genus Anoxybacillus, has a capacity of reducing nitric acid to nitrous acid and also even to nitrogen molecule.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
