PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target tracking processor which prevents an error covariance from becoming excessively large or becoming an abnormal value, even when an input frequency of an observed value falls off or when an input of the observed value vanishes.SOLUTION: The target tracking processor performs target tracking using a Kalman filter which estimates a position, a speed and a course of a target as state variables from the observed value of a sensor for observing the position of the target. Besides, the target tracking processor includes a means (dummy preparation starting part 20, dummy observation time preparing part 21 and dummy observed value preparing part 22) for correcting the error covariance which expresses dispersion of the state variables.
