PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die, an apparatus, and a method for hot press forming, by which die, apparatus, and method, draw forming and large curvature forming, which could not be realized by the conventional hot press forming technology, can be performed while keeping high productivity that is a feature of the press forming. PSOLUTION: The die 2 for hot press forming is composed of an upper die and a lower die for press forming a hot metallic plate material 1. The surfaces of the dies comprises a plurality of refrigerant discharging ports 12 and a plurality of lubricant supplying ports 30 formed thereon respectively. Inside the die 2, there are arranged refrigerant supplying pipes 13, which are communicated with the respective refrigerant discharging ports 12 and have first valve mechanisms, and lubricant supplying pipes 31, which are communicated with the respective lubricant supplying ports 30 and have second valve mechanisms 32.
