PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick-hardening material which is used for accelerating hardening of mortar or concrete, has a long pot life, and can impart a property capable of developing high strength in a short period of time; and to provide a quick-hardening cement composition.;SOLUTION: The quick-hardening material contains (a) calcium aluminate particles each of which is coated with a hydrate, (b) calcium sulfate, and (c) at least one kind selected from the group of aluminum sulfate, alkali metal sulfates, and alkali metal carbonates.
