Disclosed is a method of transmitting emergency stop control information on a common packet channel (CPCH) in a mobile communication system, which can perform an emergency stop within a less period of time when the user equipment is in a state of transmitting a packet through the CPCH by rapidly transmitting he emergency stop control information.
