PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a real-time monitoring method of intracellular Mg²⁺.;SOLUTION: This two-photon fluorescent probe for real-time monitoring of intracellular Mg²⁺ consists of a compound represented by the following chemical formula (1). In the formula (1), R is H or CH₂OCOCH₃.
