PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cleaning a screen plate in a screen printing machine which can suck/remove the residue of a printing paste adherent to the inside surfaces of the pattern openings of the screen plate efficiently, inexpensively, and relatively simply.;SOLUTION: In the cleaning apparatus having an apparatus main body which is installed movably on the lower surface side of the screen plate and in which with its movement, the residue of the printing paste adherent to the inside surfaces of the pattern openings of the screen plate can be sucked/removed, the main body is composed of a long hollow housing A in which a plurality of suction devices 2 are installed and a suction nozzle B having one or more suction ports 3 which are fixed freely attachably/detachably to the hollow housing and made to communicate with the suction ports 2A of the suction devices.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
