PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing ion in a low salt waste water produced by the regeneration process in a condensing desalting device. ;SOLUTION: In the method for removing iron in a low salt waste water, sodium hydroxide and/or sodium carbonate and iron salt are added in a minute amount to a low salt waste water produced by the regeneration process in a condensing desalting device, air is mixed in the low salt waste water to produce the treated water containing flocks, and then the treated water containing flocks is filtered to separate the flocks to recover the treated water with reduced iron.
