PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gypsum recycling plant which can make a waste gypsum recycling process efficient and also make available regenerated gypsum with successful and stable quality.;SOLUTION: This waste gypsum recycling plant 1 comprises a cage mill 12 which forms powder by grinding crushed pieces of waste gypsum and discharges the powder after mixing it with a hot blast, an air current dryer 2 which reduces the moisture content by conveying the powder of the waste gypsum with the hot blast, a first cyclone classifier 3 which removes powder of small particle diameter from the powder with the reduced moisture content, a rotary kiln 4 for calcining the powder, an air current cooler 5 for cooling the calcined powder, a second cyclone classifier 6 which classifies the cooled powder into powder of large particle diameter and the powder of small particle diameter according to a reference particle diameter of 50 μm, and a dust collector 7 for collecting the powder of small particle diameter. Since the powder composed mainly of gypsum dihydrate is calcined by the rotary kiln 4 after pretreating with the help of the air current dryer 2, gypsum hemihydrate and anhydrous gypsum can be efficiently produced with stable quality.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
