As recycling use of a waste matter, rock wool is produced by granulating municipal refuse incinerated ash, which cannot be used easily in the powdery form, by a granulator, thereby forming a low-cost solid raw material in the massive form; charging it with adjusting raw materials in a welting furnace; melting the resulting mixture; and fiberizing the molten.
