PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creation method, for a bird's-eye view, in which the bird's-eye view capable or directly overlooking a target point T is created by a method wherein an eye-point position for overlooking the target point T such as a guidance intersection or the like is optimized.;SOLUTION: When, due to a shielding target B, the target point T cannot be overlooked from the eye-point position P0 which is set at the beginning, a straight line L connecting the eye-point position P0 to the target point T is calculated. A position P1 which is situated in a position capable of directly overlooking the target point T and which is closest to the eye-point position P0 is found. The eye-point position is changed to the position P1. After that, the bird's-eye view which overlooks the target point T from the changed eye- point position P1 is created.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
